Downloading field data
One of the great benefits of the SPS e-Channel is the ability to download your field data directly in the Single Payment Supervisor software. This page gives instructions on how download your data. To view an image in more detail clicking it opens a larger view in a new window.
Downloading
1. Click the download button
Go to 'Client Details' tab and ensure you have entered your SBI number in the box provided. Once your SBI is correct click on the green download arrow shown in the image to the left. If you have previously downloaded your field data you will be prompted to confirm that you are aware your current data will be overwritten.
2. Enter you Government Gateway credentials
You will then be asked to enter your Government Gateway User ID and Password. Once you have carefully entered your credentials click OK to continue.
3. Downloading data
Single Payment Supervisor will then attempt to download your details. A progress screen as shown on the left will appear telling you what the software is doing. There are three steps to the successful download of your data, validating, sending request and reading results. The validating checks you have entered a SBI number with a valid format before sending requesting the field data related to that SBi from the Government Gaterway. If the field data is returned the software then takes the final step of reading it into the software ready for you to edit.
If all goes well the three progress boxes will all turn green and a message will confirm the download was successful. Click 'Close' and your data will be there ready to use. However should an error occur one of the progress box where the error occured will turn pink as shown to the right. To find out what the problem is click on the magnifying glass to the left. The message should allow you to see what the problem is, but if you are still not sure don't hesitate to contact us for support.
Providing there were no errors your field data will be ready for you to check, edit and submit.
